Ha[[y 90th birthday to Andrea Camilleri
Andrea Camilleri turns 90 years old Sunday, so go have a seat overlooking the sea, eat a nice fish dinner, and no cursing the saints until tomorrow.
Here are details on how Camilleri's Italian publishers are celebrating. And here's a link to my Camilleri posts at Detectives Beyond Borders, including my two-part interview with Camilleri's gifted English-language translator, Stephen Sartarelli.

Damn. And I still haven't managed to read him yet. But more power to him and may he continue to enjoy life and happiness.
Peter,
Seemed to have lost track of him lately. Time to look around and see what I've missed.
Love your title.
Seana: And he[s still writing, as far as I know, with at least another Montalbano or two yet to be translated into English.
Fred, I've missed a bit mysel. A new Montalbano novel is out, perhaps as recently as last week, and I have not yet read the two before that. Might be time to catch up amid my Bouchercon preparation and my Canadian reading.
