A Facebook post to make me blush
It's from Jen Conley, and it's about the Noir at the Bar she'll host Saturday evening:
Immediately above is the poster Chuck Regan designed for the event, and it's a stunner. So if you're anywhere in the Northeast Corridor, come on in to Tumulty's Pub, conveniently situated and amusingly named in New Brunswick, New Jersey.

"Finally, the one and only Peter Rozovsky! The guy who invented Noir at the Bar! He'll be reading tomorrow night at Tumulty's."I like to drop in on Noirs at the Bar around North America from time to time, like a derelict father checking in on the children he should have done a better job raising. But this event somewhere in the swamps of Jersey is different: I'll be reading.

Great! Have a good time!
Not only that, I shall endeavor earnestly to break a leg.
Sorry I can't make it. Behave. And if you can';t behave, at least be careful.
I behaved so well that I drank pinot grigio rather than gin (I was feeling just slightly under the weather, which earned me the hearty disdain of the bartender, according to the person who bought me the drink.
Your area was well represented, by way. I had a nice chat with Ed Aymar, whom I'd first encountered at a Noir at the Bar in Baltimore
Ed's good people and a good writer, too. The kind of person I ought to spend more time with, given my weaknesses in both areas.
Dana, you're a fine writer, and at least adequate as a person.
Ed tells me he's throwing a Noir at the Bar in D.C. one of these days. I'll try to make it.
