Blogger had been functioning properly for almost a month, so it was due to start destroying comments again, and indeed it has. If your comments do not appear, be patient. I will repost them in the next hiatus between Blogger breakdowns.

In case your comments are not showing up ...

In a sudden downturn from its recent performance problems, Blogger is now not just failing to post and register comments, it's destroying comments that have already appeared. So if you've posted a comment and it does not show up, that's why. I hope Blogger will fix the problem. Meanwhile keep reading, keep posting, and hope for the best.

Does anyone know a good replacement for "Blogger"?

"Blogger" has been doing weird things with comments for a couple of months. I will receive e-mail notification that a comment has been posted, but the comment does not appear.

Sometimes the comments will appear in the "Post a comment" box but not in the main window. Sometimes the comments take minutes, even hours to appear. All bloggers hope to get tons of comments, but if your blog stops displaying them after they hit a certain number, what's the use of hoping?

Blogger has ignored repeated complaints, so I'm going to look for a new host. For any of you who have blogs on WordPress or any other host, are you satisfied with the product?
