Peter Temple to be adapted for television
Courtesy of Australia's Boomerang Blog is this news that Peter Temple's Jack Irish novels will be adapted for a television mini-series. I don't know how the series will turn out, but the source material is just fine.(Guy Pearce has been cast as Jack Irish. He was fine in Memento and L.A. Confidential, so this might not be a bad choice.)

That sounds interesting, I hope it works out.
As do I. I know nothing about the project beyond what's in the article to which I linked. I hope the superb source material inspires a good production.
