A fine source for news and reviews of crime fiction
The Euro Crime Web site's news section has links to news, views, interviews and lots and lots of reviews from newspapers in Europe and North America. It looks like a great place to browse, to find new books and authors, and to find gifts as that special time of year approaches.

I second that, Peter -- it is a really good site. If I ever run out of book recommendations or books I know I want to read (which won't happen), I know I can go there for sustenance.
It will provide lots of good browsing, that's for sure. I've known about Euro Crime for a while, and I browse it regularly. I don't know why I never discovered the news section until now.
Thanks Peter for the mention, much appreciated. The news and review sections are updated weekly, whenever possible. A lot of the site is devoted to bibliographies of British/European authors ('Books' link). I used to be a read series in order nut but reading translated novels has cured me of that a little! Also there's a long list of author homepages under 'Authors', and a list of forthcoming titles under 'New Releases'. There are more sections but those are the main ones.
Sometimes reading a series out of order permits a clearer perpective. Sometimes the quirks of availability at secondhand bookshops or on ABE dictate this! I find myself following series order only when I join a series in midstream, like it, then buy the new novels as they are released.
I noticed that you posted links to some reviews of The Prone Gunman. I can recommend the novel to you -- cool and creepy!
